MY FAVOURITE STORY.

During this week we were reading a book in the english class in gruops. I'm going to tell you what was my favourite story of the book.

Dora's Turn.

This chapter is about two friends that must go to a war.The don't want to go, but they said to both that the one who wants to scape will be killed. So Dora (one of the two friends) tried to scape, and the said to Acayo (the other one of the two friends) he must kill her friend.

Acayo didn't want to kill her friend. They heard gunfires, and the where form the good ones, and they both scape together.

I've choose this story because I like it and I have also choose it because you can learn things in this story, like be honest and to be a good friend.

My favourite characters are Acayo and Dora, because they demostrate what is been a good friend.

I recomend to reed this book (bookworms pearl) because it have differents stories and they are very interestings, and you can also learn lots of things and also vocabulary.

 

Making scary movies.

Making scary movies was a project from the English class. We had some problems but in the end we had fun.

It was a team work with four people in the group. Our biggest problem was the time to meet because not everybody in the group could meet at the same time. And also because had to study.

When we were filming, other problem was the sound wasn't good at all and in one part of the video the sound starts before the image.

But finally, we meet all together and we get fun doing the film.

Christmas Eve.

Christmas day is the day that we celebrate the begining of the Christmas because Jesus was born.

At Christmas holidays we have diferent tradition, but I'm going to talk only about two of them, that they are: dinner and family.

First I'm going to talk you about the dinner on Christmas.

We eat all the family together. They always bring a lot o food because we eat a lot. We also eat 'mantecados' that is something similar to shortbread and I like it a lot. We also eat GAMBAS, but I don't eat them because I don't like it. Some families eats more and some less. And this is all about the dinner.

Now I'm going to speak you about the family.

I celebrate Christmas Eve with my mother's family, It means, that I celebrate with my mother's sisters and parents and with my cousins.

Other people celebrate with they father's family or with both. After eat dinner some families go out to throw firecrakes And the also sing Christmas carols like : Silent night o jingle bell.

So this is my way to celebrate it. I hope you like it!

 

MY SELF PORTRAIT.

 

Hi I'm Mónica and this is my self portrait. 

 

I'm not a very pacient person, I'm sociable and I like doing sport. I also like being with my friends. In summer I always travel with my family and I like too. I think that I'm a cheerful person and very active and energetic, but a bit shy. I like also going travel, because I think that is very good know new places and visit them. On one picture I'm on a cruise.

On those picture I'm playing padel. In general I like playing a lot o sport but padel the most one. I like playing tournaments of padel.

So this is the real me.

 

                                                          CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE

Yesterday we finished Christmas with the day of the Three Wise Men (Los Reyes Magos ) that brought us presents and the day before yesterday we usually go to a the city or to a town to see the ‘’cabalgatas’’ that are people who are sitting on a big cart that are animated with some big dolls of cartoons, stories or movies.

I think this christmas I have fun a lot with my family and friends.

One day, at de background of a house, there was a black cat. The cat was wearing a pink mask. A man wants the mask so he caught the cat in a sack, but he tripped over a rock and the cat could escape.

 

NUTRITION PROJECT.

 

This is a project from the English class about cooking, and learning differents types of diets of differents countries.

 

Before doing the project, we saw in class some videos about healthy food.

 

We were differents gruops of 5 or 6 people, and each person needs to research info about the country that he/she choose. After the research, we had to decide one country to do the presentation and one typical food of that place, and we choose Italy, that was the one that I did.

 

I had fun when we cooked, and the result was very good. We cooked canelloni from Italy becaus we thought that it was going to be easier than other foods. Also we had fun shooting the video.

 

When we do the presentation in class, we also need to open an International Restaurant, and we need to do the menus, prepare the table. We also learned how to book a table and gow to server it.

 

The conclusion is that we had fun, and we had learned a ot of vocabulary of cooking, and a lot of things.
